Antwone De'Shone Whiteside

Sr., age 47, was born in Hammond, Indiana on March 19, 1978 to Betty Davis and Frederick Whiteside. Antwone grew up in the City of Gary, Indiana later moving to Merrillville, Indiana. Antwone began his elementary education at Brunswick School and Edison Junior High, and transferred to Merrillville High School where he graduated in 1996. After graduating from high school Antwone went on to attend Ball State University to pursue his passion for graphics arts; and later transferred to Westwood Graphic School in Calumet City, Illinois where he received an undergraduate degree in Graphic Arts and later received a Bachelor Degree in Arts and Science and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Wesleyan College, located in Marion, Indiana. He was entrepreneur, founder and designer at Graphics United. Antwone accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of True Light International Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Scott S. Jeferson Ill, where he worked in the Media/Graphic ministries. Antwone married, and to that union were born four children: Alyssia (Quintavion) Smith, Areiana, Alayah, and Antwone Whiteside Jr. Antwone leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, Betty Davis; father, Frederick (Janet) Whiteside; Pour children: Alyssia (Quintavion) Smith, Areiana, Alayah, and Antwone Whiteside Jr.; two brothers, Damien and Myekeal (special cousin); five half-sisters and two half-brothers - Shoranda, Tareva, Dacota, Noah, Tamia, Faith, and Isaiah Whiteside; six grandchildren, Zaniyah, Zavion, Zamariah Smith, Amarion, Laveah Rias, and Layoni Phelps; one aunt, Dr. Deborah McBride-Lewis; one uncle, James Hunter; and a host of relatives and friends. Antwone is preceded in death by his stepfather, Sidney Davis; loving grandparents, Jannie and Bishop Jessie Hunter; loving aunt, Shirley; and loving cousin, Billy McBride. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Regeneration Church 6851 New Hampshire Street Hammond, Indiana. Viewing 9:00AM-11:00AM with funeral immediately following at 11:00AM.
