I remember being in a mixed golf tourney with Lorraine and Archie, which they won. Archie was so proud of Lorraine. They were a great couple and reared a wonderful family. Thanks Judy for your e-mails.

Archie was a co-worker at TransAlta, and I enjoyed hearing stories of his hockey days. He was very graceful when I succeeded him in one of his jobs. My condolences to his family.

Farewell to a truly good man, the best neighbour we've ever had (along with dear, sweet Lorraine), and a great friend. He shared his birthday with Jim, and we have the funny, hot tub and golf stories to go with those memories. Years after we left Calgary we could look forward to their annual visit in B.C. We will never forget and will always miss this treasured friendship. With our deepest sympathy to Archie's family. He was always so proud of all of you, especially during and after Lorraine's fight with cancer. Now they're together again, . .Love Liz and Jim
