Dear Mrs. Ivy and Family:
I am so sorry for your loss. Ardie Ivy was a blessing sent from God. I had an opportunity to meet Dr. Ardie at the annual UCLA Center for excellence in Engineering and Diversity (CEED)Programs' Industry Advisory Board Planning Conference where he did what he did best; Teach young Engineering Students the fact of life. He was a great Mentor, Educator and he had a passion and strong belief in in paving the way for our young people to excel.
My greatest sympathy to you and your family

Dear Mrs. Ivie and Family,
I was very sorry to hear of Dr. Ivie's passing. He will be missed very much. I remember a strong confident man coming in the office at Los Angeles World Airports leading seminars with Senior Staff on how to plan and meet their goals. He was a "wealth of knowledge" along with being kind and respectful to all in the office.
My deepest sympathy.
