I can still feel you hugging me at my son's briss seven and a half years ago. your heart was genuine and true, an authentic sweetheart. could never help but smile when i saw you, the goodness of your soul was always on display for all to see. i love you and will forever hold you close to my heart. watching playoff hockey in your smokey apartment is where my son always wanted to be. "My God Daddy, did you see that? He ate the whole ben and jerry's in thirty seconds! Wow"

I keep thinking of the things you loved; hockey retroviruses, those diesel jeans, cafe zinho, phish(yuk), banter, laughing so hard we'd cry, me, your family, bud.... no one could stay mad at you because of that infectious grin, that sweet face. i loved you long and well, a great big love. i have missed you for a really long time ern. you'll never be forgotten. xoxo

Ari, although we were cousins, I did not get to know you well, and I am sorry for that. I know our family will miss you. I hope you meet my sister in heaven and take good care of each other.

when I started at a new highschool Ari was the first person to befriend me and make me feel welcome. The day I left he was as intelligent and kind as the day I started. I looked through the yearbook yesterday and you are in almost every picture with that big smile. We are gonna miss you brother.
