Ariel McGinnis Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 17, 2019.
Ariel Josiah (AJ) McGinnis, age 20, born on November 17, 1998, was tragically killed on April 15, 2019 on Highway 27 in Havana Florida. Preceded in death by his younger brother, Jonathan; he leaves behind his parents, Lance and Donna McGinnis, his grandmother, Judith McGinnis, 4 older siblings, Timothy, Sarah, Rachel and Leah, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

AJ McGinnis resided in Havana Florida with his parents and oldest sister, Sarah. He was training to be a professional MMA fighter, and had plans to open up his own mixed martial arts training facility for troubled youth. AJ was everyone's best friend, and the first to ask how you are doing and put a smile on your face. His presence was felt in any room he was in, and his absence is felt already.

Graveside service at 10:00 AM to be held at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Rd., Tallahassee, Florida. Followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM at Advent Episcopal Church, 815 Piedmont Drive, Tallahassee, Florida.
