ARJHAN MATTHEW BAGHERI
AGE: 25 BRIELLE
Arjhan Matthew Bagheri, 25, of Brielle, departed too young. He left this world unexpectedly Saturday, March 14, 2009. Born in Hackensack, he resided in Franklin Lakes for 10 years before moving to Brielle, where he has lived since. Arjhan was a graduate of Manasquan High School and Syracuse University. He worked as a gemologist for the family business in Wall Township. Arjhan loved working out, fishing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and being with his friends. But most of all, Arjhan loved to spend time with his family.
Arjhan is survived by his loving parents, Kaz and Geraldine Bagheri; his sister, Daria; his brother, Jonyar; his loving grandmother Elinor; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends. He will be so dearly missed.
Arjhan, you were a kind, soft-spoken, gentle soul. Watch over your family until we reunite once again.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 18 at O'Brien Funeral Home, Highway 35, Wall. A funeral mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 19 at St. Mark's Church, Sea Girt. Entombment will follow at St. Catharine's Mausoleum, Sea Girt. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Arjhan's name to IFRED, International Foundation for Research and Education on Depression, at www.ifred.org.

To my dear, loving, beautiful son,

I had the privilege to spend time with you the evening before you left us. The last time I got to see that beautiful smile was with you bending down hugging Lennon cheek to cheek. This picture will stay with me forever. You hugged Nanny, Lennon, and gave me a big kiss and hug goodbye saying “I’ll see you tomorrow.” I want you to know that I promise that I will remain courageous for your Dad, Daria, and Jonyar. You loved us all very, very much. I feel your presence even when I’m sleeping. My guidance is helping me to understand that we were all put on this earth for just a very short time; what will seem like a flash. We will reunite shortly. I will dream about this moment every second of my life. Until then, I love you, Arj.

I love you.

My Dear brother Kaz and his loving family Geri, Daria & Jonyar,

I would like to express my deepest sympathy and condolences on behalf of our entire Bagheri family who are far away from you and can not reach or get in touch with you. I want you to know that your grief is our grief and your pain is our pain. I can not describe in words how disturbed and heartbroken we are by loosing such a kind and gentle member of our family, we might not be able to imagine how you feel but loosing Arjhan is nothing less painful than loosing our own child. Now life goes on and the past is past, we all have to surrender to the harsh moments in our lives and sometimes we have no choice but to continue with our lives without our love ones. Life is a trip, for some, this journey is short and for others it is a little longer. As poet Omar Khayam said, we all die someday and join the 7000 years olds.
Keep strong and together, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult and distressing time.

Dear Kaz, Geri , Darya and Janyar,
Grief like the ocean comes in waves only to recede and come yet again but with it comes healing memories wash ashore and are bathed by the golden sun. Grab hold of those memories and let them fill the emptiness. May they bring you peace.
Our thoughts are with you.

Dear Geri, Kaz, Daria and Jonyar,

I can not express the sadness I feel from the moment I heard of Arjhan's untimely death.

My memories of Arjhan were when he use to babysit for our son Chris and we came home one night to find them playing intently with Ninja turtles and accessories. It was almost as if our coming home disturbed them as they just carried on. The five year difference didn't matter. Boys will be boys!

I always knew him to be a shy person but always friendly enough to greet me with a big smile and be respectful.

I can't imagine the pain that you are all feeling but hope that the fond memories of his life shared with you lessens the pain over time.

I am certain that he would want you both to be strong for Daria and Jonyar, as he always knew you to be, and to always support each other when needed.

You are all in my prayers!

With Love,

Sara and Chris Cielazewicz

Dear Kaz, Geri, Daria & Jonyar,
We continue to keep all of you in our thoughts & prayers at this very difficult time. I will always remember Arjhan for his kind ways. Kaz... you & Geri raised a real gentleman that you can always be proud of. Here is a poem my Mom wrote 40 years ago after the passing of my brother.

Memories of the ones we love
will always cast their glow,
Oh Lord we put him in thy hands
he's with you in heaven we know.
Forever in our hearts he will remain,
until we meet again.

Until then Arjhan!

With Love & Prayers,
Donna Wallster & Family.

My dearest Arjhan,

There has never been a more loving relationship. You had the kind, gentle, and beautiful soul of your father, and he the gift of a beautiful son.

Thank you for making me part of your family and life. You will forever be etched in my heart.

Peace and love to my Kaz, Daria, Jonyar, and their wonderful family.

Love always,
Robbin Lindsay

Dear Kaz and family,
I met you only once when i visited you last year in your shop. I was with my son Ran and Arjhan accompanied us back to our hotel in New York. In this short ride (1/2 hour) we had a very nice conversation and he really impressed us. He was very nice, soft spoken and spoke with enthusiasm about his love of the nature, his love of fishing and other things.
So it was with great sadness that i learned the bad news.
My sincere condolences for the great loss

Dear Geri, Kaz, Jonyar, Daria and Elinor: We are so sorry and heart-sick for all of you. We can only imagine the immense pain and loss you are feeling right now.

Arjhan was an actual customer of mine once - I remember removing several thousand viruses off his computer and how amazed he was at the sheer number of them! I also remember how cool he was with life and how he cherished his family and friends.

Based on my limited exposure to Arjhan and what Geri would tell me about him, I felt he possessed a genuinely good soul and had a real, positive influence on everyone around him.

I believe Arjhan will be missed more than anyone could ever know.

Each of you are in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

Love,

Rick, Shirley-Jo and Erica-Jo Strader and Joseph Zatorski (Sj's dad)
