Arleen Sorkin played fan favorite Calliope Jones on the soap opera "Days of Our Lives," and her personality was the inspiration behind the popular Batman villain Harley Quinn; she was also the first actress to voice the role. We will miss Arleen Sorkin. May the love and the special memory you shared and cherish with her show just how much your life was touched by her. Although 3yrs younger, we grew up in the same neighborhood. Arlene would often cross our yard when going to visit her friend on Wyndale St, NW DC. I was very happy to see her career blossom. RIP lil' one, you earned it!

So sorry to learn of her passing. Her great grandmother Mirel Vener was sister to my great grandfather Frank Vener. While I did not know Arleen personally it is clear her memory will be for a blessing to many. I offer my sincere condolences to her loved ones, all my cousins, her many fans and all who knew her.
