Arlen Fronczak Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 3, 2024.
Arlen Donald Fronczak, 69, of Pine River, Wisconsin, passed away on February 13, 2024. Born on September 30, 1954, in Waupaca, Wisconsin, Arlen was a pillar of strength, embodying integrity and commitment to his family.

Arlen's life was marked by his adventurous spirit and his deep appreciation for nature, as evidenced by his stewardship of Lake Augustine. His love for music and exploration was equally matched by his dedication to his community and the environment. Arlen cherished not only "his lake" but the countless friends and neighbors that he had acquired over his years of residence. While living simply, Arlen maintained a full and joyful life, any gift or blessing from nature or a friend was cherished with heartfelt gratitude and love.

Arlen's professional life was spent in construction contracting, after which he pursued his passion for taxidermy, showcasing his skill and artistry. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, enjoying scenic drives, photography, attending concerts, and cherishing the company of friends.

Facing his final challenge with cancer Arlen was stoic and contemplative, he embraced those that surrounded him during his vigil tightly and asked only that he be remembered with fondness and laughter. His steadfast presence was a source of consolation to his family and friends that gathered to support him. Arlen passed peacefully, listening to music and memories of his very full life as he was held by family and caregivers.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and treasured memories. Arlen is survived by his brothers, Derwin and Marlin Fronczak; his children, Luke Fronczak, Adam Koeppel, and Annie Fronczak; and his beloved grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Lucille Fronczak, and his brother Allen Fronczak.

Arlen's life will be celebrated at a forthcoming Celebration of Life event at Pony Creek County Park near Tustin, WI, with details to be announced when the season permits.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Arlen's memory to the Research and Education Foundation of the American Head and Neck Society or the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin, reflecting his commitment to the preservation of nature and his community.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tanya Michelle Wittig, Maddie Kaye Wierzba, Tony Watson, Martina Koeppel, Compassus Hospice and all others that contributed to a peaceful end of life vigil.

Arlie was my dear friend. It's ironic that this date is coming up, I've been thinking of him, sometimes I forget that he's gone to Heaven, and I think of riding out to Augustyn Lake to visit. Then I remember again. I miss his hearty laugh and just talking to him. He was a good man who loved his family and friends very much. I remember how he loved his daughter Annie and grandson Liam. I apologize for anyone I missed here, but those were the two I knew. I have another friend with a birthday on 9-30 which is also the date I had my cancer surgery 10 yrs ago now. I will never forget him, and wish all the best to Arlies family always

A find memory - my first wife and I had purchased a small farm at the top of the hill where you could look at the road all the way down tge hill. Arlie had a 1965 Chevy Impala 2 door hard top that had no shocks. He would hit a dip in the road and we could see him bouncing all the way up to our house! He´d get out of the car and it would still be bouncing!! Rest in peace Arlie! Buzz Inderdahl

I met Arlie thru the Glidden Men's pool league at the Lodge. I always enjoyed his visits, we became fast friends. Arlie would come out on Fri nights for a fish fry and we would talk and laugh a lot! Was surprised and shocked to hear of his passing and I will miss him and remember him fondly.
