OBD. Where to begin? I worked for you and loved it! We butted heads numerous times but never held it against each other. You were one wonderful boss and most of all a GREAT friend. We listened to each others issues and really cared. I will miss you always and hold the memories close to my heart!

By the time 1977 rolled around, Arlen was known throughout Lorain Catholic High School. Teachers were charmed by him (at least HE thought they were), students cheered for him on the field, and friends were always around him. He was kind, funny, and ever so easy to talk to. At age 52 he was taken much too soon. Prayers and healing to his family.

To the Mance Family,
Arlen’s smile…WOW!
I worked with Arlen at MAMSI and he could always make me smile, even when I didn’t want to.
When ever Arlen was around his smile made it uncontrollable for others not to smile.
The thought of Arlen’s smile makes me smile…
His smile was beautiful and you could feel the love in his smile.
It’s funny how such a smile can mean so much…
Arlen was a good, kind and caring man and he will truly be missed.
What I will miss the must about Arlene is his BEAUTIFUL SMILE.
My prayers are with Arlen’s family and friends; just know that God will be there to comfort.
Stay Blessed!

I graduated with Arlen from Lorain Catholic in 1977. I remember Arlen's smile and his tremendous athletic ability. I ran into Arlen at one of our reunion's and was amazed at how he looked the same. Ageless!! A sweet, polite, and gentle person, terrible loss. My sincere sympathy to his family and friends.
