Arlene Rose Torgersen

Arlene Rose Torgersen, 72, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at her home in Fort Wayne. Born in Chicago, IL, Arlene was a volunteer for many organizations throughout her life. She was a board member for the Franciscan Center. Arlene lived her life for Christ, had unwavering faith and loved Our Lady. She enjoyed painting, drawing, making many arts and crafts, along with a special love for music and her unique gift of yodeling. She loved and cherished her children, 13 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Arlene was very active in multiple church groups. Surviving are her sons, Vincent (Cindy) Paris, Stephen (Susan) Paris, Michael (Sara) Paris, Patrick (Erin) Paris all of Fort Wayne, Dean (Shannon) Paris, Brian (Carol) Paris both of Fortuna, CA, daughter, Angelynne Paris of Fort Wayne, sisters, Josephine Dennison of FL, EmCele (Ned) Masbaum of Indianapolis, Andrea (David) Groves of MN. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Mary Torgersen. Calling at D. O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. A Rosary and Vigil Service will take place at 4 pm.
