Arlene Loretta Bressler Turner passed away in her sleep on December 28, 2009, after a short illness at the age of 78. Born March 2, 1931 in Rockford Illinois.
Her parents, Charles H. Bressler and Vera Mae Rutherford Bressler, moved to Houston during the great depression when she was a year and a half and where she remained until her death. A devoted wife and mother she was married to Aubrey James Turner for 54 years and raised 5 children. She started her working career later in life where she worked for Kerr McGee Corp. in the accounting dept. for many years.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Shirley Faye Turner Pearl, three daughters, Vera Audrey Hine, Deborah Kay Estep, Lois Loretta Butler, two sons, Charles Bryant Turner, Darren Ray Turner, three son-in-laws, David Alan Hine, Jack Heston Estep, Louis Lamar (Doc) Butler, Jr., two daughter-in-laws, Mary Turner and Dewese Turner, grandchildren; Karen A. Rocker, Bradley D. Rocker, Kristine A. Hamlin, David R.E. Hamlin, Brandy A. Farrar, David N. Farrar, William D. Teel Jr., Heather Hunt, Summer Wells, Spc Sam Wells, Jr. , Holly Hunt, Crystal Estep, Loretta Turner, Erika Arlene Walker, Diana Clonts, great grandchildren; Ashton B. Rocker, Sarah E. Rocker, Emily G. Rocker, Daniel A. Farrar, Jordan Kader, Paige Lilly, Aubrey Kay Lilly, Donovan Wells, Sammy Wells III, A.J.Parrish, Isabella Ann-Marie Clonts, and Numerous nieces and nephews.
