Our family will always remember when you found an armadillo trapped in your backyard. Our kids and neighbors watched excitedly as Jack grabbed it by the tail and managed to hold it out the window while you drove it to the nearby green belt. Of course it will not be our only memory of you and Clifford. You were original members of our little "village" and we were honored to have you as a friend and neighbor!

Arlene brought joy to the Capitol and make the hard work easier. She handled landmark criminal legislation in 1993 with ease and grace and yes, we could not have done it without her. My best to her family, there is a little less joy on the earth today. Representative Allen Place
