Arline Becker

Arline (Richards) Becker, 90, passed away on February 27, 2025, in Lake Katrine, New York. She was born on March 23, 1934, in Millbrook, New York, to Theodore and Florence Richards.

Arline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend who brought warmth and joy to those around her. She married Robert Becker and together they built a loving home filled with laughter and cherished memories. A dedicated homemaker and housewife, Arline took great pride in caring for her family and creating a welcoming space for all who entered her home.

She found immense joy in cooking delicious meals for her loved ones, shopping for treasures big and small, and filling the air with music through her love of singing and dancing. Above all else, she embraced motherhood wholeheartedly, raising four sons with unwavering love and devotion. Spending time with family was her greatest happiness, and she treasured every moment shared with them.

Arline is survived by her sons William (Joan) and Karl (Terri); grandchildren Wanda, Ashley, Donna, and Jason; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Becker; her parents Theodore and Florence Richards; her brother Howard Richards; sisters Doris Woodard and Elizabeth Craft; sons Erich Becker and Arthur Becker, and an infant son(1971), Rodney James Becker.

Arline had a radiant personality that could light up any room with just a smile. Her kindness, warmth, and unforgettable stories will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
