I had the pleasure of working with Arlie in the Deans office for several years. He was a true gentleman and gave so much of himself to the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine. My sincere condolences to his family.

Chi-Miigwetch to Dr. Dungy for his work in advocating for the Aboriginal Program at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine. This legacy of this important project lives on as more Indigenous MDs graduate every year and are practicing across Canada.

It was truly a pleasure to have known such a fine gentleman. While working at CHEO, in particular working on the liaison Twinning Team with the Bustamante Children's in Kingston Jamaica, Dr Dungy became such a great friend. His leadership to that team was immeasurable. May he rest in Peace.

My condolences to the Dungy family. Dr. Dungy was our neighbour, family friend and dentist many years ago, in Cochrane. He was a good man!

Our condolences to Susan and family. Arly was a tireless worker for CHEO and the University of Ottawa. He was the ideal expert in conflict resolution. As Medical Director at CHEO he worked largely behind the scenes but was responsible for many of its achievements. It was a pleasure and an honor to have known him!

I must say I feel very fortunate that I can say I met and worked with Dr Arlington Dungy. He always made me feel that I made a big difference to CHEO regardless if I was a Doctor or a mail clerk.
Deepest sympathies to his family.

Arlington Dungy was a kind and pleasant colleague, with whom it was my pleasure and privilege to work. CHEO was fortunate to have Arlington in a leadership position where his skill as an administrator, his wisdom, and his patience were deeply appreciated.

Arly was the personification of the best of reconciliation. His kind wisdom and conviction to social justice will forever be remembered. Every time I see a U of Ottawa Aboriginal medical school graduate, I know his legacy lives on. Sending prayers and thanks to his family for so generously sharing Arly with the world. It is a much better place because of him.

a graceful, politically deft force for the good in the formative days of the children's hospital of eastern ontario. also a hell of a good runner. was always fun running into him in the hallway and getting his latest take on what was happening initially at cheo and latterly at the deans office where he pioneered the aboriginal program. we were lucky to have him.

Condolences to the family. I sat with Arlie on the SEOCHC board and appreciated his insights into the workings of the Ontario medical system. I also enjoyed hearing about some of the family history (and his interest in Peugeots!). A true gentleman. He will be missed.
