Arma Battles-Dixon Obituary
Arma Jean Ross was born December 21, 1950 to J. W. Ross and Lula Mae McGee Ross in Ben Wheeler, Texas. She attended local schools and was a 1968 graduate of Van High School. She was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church and later joined St. Louis Baptist Church where she was a faithful member.
"Billie" was employed with G.E., Trane, Ingersoll Rand. She retired in 2010.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Harold (Sugar Bear) Battles and one brother.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her only child, Jibreel Battles and grandsons, Jibreel, Jr. and Jileel Battles. Three brothers L.W. Ross, Freddie Ross and James Ross; two sisters Sarah Randle and Norma Williams. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and lifelong friends.
Public viewing at the funeral home Thursday, 1:00-7:00 PM.
