Armando A Delcampo

Armando A. DelCampo 66, of Salem Ma.passed peacefully on July 1 at the Kaplan Hospice House in Danvers, Ma. He survived by his wife, Jacklyn(Scott-Robson),and his son, Matthew Todd. Born the eldest son of Armando P Del Campo and Magdalena (Meg)Swette(Obrador), in Santiago, Cuba. The family moved to the United States early in his life to Newton, Ma. where he was raised. He went on to join the Newton Fire Dept. , from which he retired. He was a person who loved his home,his family,good food, classic cars, and going for rides on his Harley. He enjoyed telling stories with the goal of making everyone laugh, and was usually successful. He is survived by his sister, Sophia, (Fia)Rufo, husband, Gene, his brother, Rick DelCampo and his Uncle Andi Obrador. He also leaves two very close cousins, Glenda Pizzi, (Melendez) John, and their children, Carlos and Maryellen Melendez. His former SIL Wendy Delcampo, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Todd Delcampo,stepfather Larry Swette. Memorial Services are to be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
