My Dear Godfather Tito.
You have known me my entire life....I am 56. My mother Rachel has known you since she was in her 20s OR before. With 11 brothers and sisters you were part of their family. My father James was your best friend. You grew up with the Suarez -Olivera family. You have been a part of our lives for many..many ..many... years.
Personally you have brought great Joy to our lives. Many celebrations you have shared with my family. You always sent cards to me, my mother, my children and my grandchildren. Not one holiday or occasion has gone by where we didn't receive a card from you wishing us well and sending a gift. Always so generous and always with best regards....so loving. For that I am greatful... You walked me down the aisle at my wedding....For that I am greatful...for brightening up every occasion that we had I am greatful....You were my father and I love you...my heart is broken..

Tito was at all our bbqs and family partys on Long Island. Tito was always at all the Suarez party's. Laughing, Dancing and drinking his Budweiser.... Always having a great time, always a Blessing to us...Happy memories.
Tito, You have brought us so much joy and laughter.
My heart is broken that I didn't get to see you at the end of your life and share the love I have for you but I know that you knew we loved you. You are at peace now. I only wish I could of been there with you....You will be missed...

A Tribute to Armando Arthur Torres (a/k/a "Tito") By: Angie Suarez-Carrasqullo - From The Suarez Family
Dear Torres Family:
My name is Angie Suarez-Carrasquillo, I am the youngest female of the Suarez Family; and, Tito has been a friend of our family since I was 7 years old. (I'm 69 now.)
My heart ached when I heard of Tito's passing, he was a major fixture in our lives; a party wasn't a party without Tito being there.
My sister Delilah will be 80 years old on June 11, 2016; I had sent Tito an Invitation to her Birthday Party.
Feelings of our love for Tito would fill volumes; so, I've composed a few lines in an attempt to express our sentiments:
I titled it;
Because You're Gone
Precious Friend - Tito:
The sun shines a little less bright because - you're gone:
The world laughs a little less because - you're gone:
Our family's joy is a little less because - you're gone:
And; all of these are just a little less because - You've found your way Home to Our Lord.
The Universe Rejoices !
The Hallelujah Choir sings praises to the Lord !
And, we who love You are Comforted !!

Dearest Tito,
You have been a part of our family for my entire life. To think that you will not be at our next family function breaks my heart.
You were a person surrounded by Joy and Love. I can't remember any gathering that didn't include the sound of your laughter followed by everyone else laughing with you.
Although I am sad at my loss I know that you are being happily welcomed into the arms of all the family that have left us before you. Because if Tito has arrived there must be a party around. Most importantly you are back in the arms of your wife Selma, who I
know, you have loved and missed greatly.
So as I lift my Budweiser in salute to you, Thank you for the laughs, the stories, the joy of being our family friend. Until we meet again.
