Pastor Meyer confirmed me in 1977 (if memory serves) at St. Paul's Lutheran in Alta Vista, KS. I learned so much during confirmation class and it has stuck with me all these years! I have so much respect for the Meyers, both he and Nina; a great family. Sara was one of my best friends through college. I miss them all dearly, but know we will see them again one day.

Arno led me back to the Lord and was instrumental in my children being raised in the church. He lived on our street and he always had a smile and wave. He was a true friend and I will forever be thankful for having had him in my life.

Pastor Meyer confirmed me in 1974 in Alta Vista and taught me so much about my faith. In 1980, while I attended Wichita State, I went to St. Andrews and had the priviledge of worshipping with him again. His love of Christ was inspiring. May he now be reunited with Sara and those who have gone before him.. Take care Nina & Andy.

A good and Godly man has completed the journey God put before him; and the finish line is sweet reward. I would liked to have seen Arno's first meal with God. Tai food all around! Bless you Pastor Meyer!
