MONA RONILLA MacPHEE (NEE JAMES) Loretto Abbey '36 St. Michael's Hospital (Nursing '38) Devoted wife, mother, Catholic, duplicate bridge player, crossword puzzle aficionado and inveterate reader Mona MacPhee died peacefully at Cornwall Community Hospital, Cornwall, Ontario, on December 23rd in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late George H. James and Mary A. Donnelly. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Archibald E.R. MacPhee. Dear mother of Mary, Janet (David Palframan), James (Patricia Reise), Bruce (Linda), Ian and Paul. Predeceased by her infant daughter Margaret. Sadly missed by her brother John James. Predeceased by her siblings Arthur, Herbert, Janet, Richard and Margaret. Fondly remembered by her sister-inlaw Hester MacPhee. Loving grandmother of Sarah (Hugh Peacock), Kevin (Elena) and Andrea (Gary McNutt) Palframan; Blythe, Drew, Fiona and Quinn MacPhee; and Laura MacPhee. Greatgrandmother to Zoe, Connor and Wesley Peacock; Nicholas and Sophia Palframan; and Kina and Marly Palframan. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home - West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall, Ontario (613-932-8482) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, December 28th and Monday, December 29th from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. FUNERAL MASS MONDAY, DECEMBER 29TH 11 O'CLOCK ST. COLUMBAN'S CHURCH 36 4th Street West, Cornwall, Ontario. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Carefor Health & Community Ser vices/Hospice Cornwall, 205 Amelia Street, Cornwall, Ontario K6H 3P3, would be appreciated by the family.
