Dr. Arnold K. Carter

My condolences to the Carter family. Dr Carter was our family doctor for many years until we moved from Windsor. He delivered most of my parents' ten children and kept us all healthy. I remember him making house calls when my mother needed him. He also cared for my daughters when they were babies and I credited him with saving the life of my daughter Tammy when she suffered from a from a gastro-intestinal afflication and nearly died. May God grant him peace. He was truly a treasure.

Please accept my deepest condolences. My mother was a single parent and Dr. Carter was our family doctor for many years. I married and had a son in 1962. Dr. Carter taught me self-hypnosis (free of charge) in order that I might have an easier time during childbirth if not give birth naturally without any medication. An epidural was administered shortly before the birth. However, I truly believe that my labour was shortened by the self-hypnosis. In fact I have used this practice whenever I am in a stressful situation and am thankful each and every time for Dr. Carter's care and concern for me. May he be at peace resting in one of God's many rooms.

I am sharing memories on behalf of The Ashford Family Our parents were George and Phyllis and we are Gail, Sylvia, Barbara, Carol and George. Dr. C, we always called him, was our friend and our family doctor. He was so very kind. We cried together. We laughed together on Pelee Island and elsewhere. When our Dr C retired he placed us in the care of the finest Family Physician in Windsor Dr Jeff Price. We thank you so much Dr C for the memories. We will never forget.

Doctor Carter was the type of physician took the time to not just treat the symptoms but the patent. He always took the time to find out how you and your family were doing. My father once came from the golf corse straight to his office where he fell over and had a massive heart attack. Dr.Carter was able to bring him back, for that we are forever grateful. He was a kind and gentle man, one of a kind .

To the Carter Family: Sincere condolences during your time of loss.

In 1956 one very concerned mother brought her nine month old daughter to see Dr. Carter for the very first time. She had previously seen six other doctors and had not been satisfied, at times being brushed off as being an overly concerned mom. She knew her daughters behaviour and symptoms were not normal. Immediately hearing this mothers worry he had a very firm conviction as to what this child’s problem could be. He scheduled her for an EEG. His suspicions were correct. This baby was having petite mall epileptic seizures. In short order she was prescribed the needed medication which she continued with for the next four years. Through this time she developed normally and grew out of this condition.

MY NAME IS GERI LYNN AND I LIVE!

I understand that if this condition had not been discovered when it was that I surely would have brain damage or possibly died. I am now 54 years old, have my own family, am of sound mind and have lived and loved. My life I owe to the good judgement of this wise, knowing man.

In this SAVED LIFE I have come to know God and have had the grace to live as a faithful Christian.

With this faith I pray,
Heavenly father thank you for Dr. Arnold K. Carter, for all the times you worked through his hands and mind to accomplish your will. I trust now that in your great mercy you have welcomed him into your kingdom, have taken his hand and shown him the glorious place you have prepared just for him. Believing that you now hold him in your peace and comfort, he is released from this earthly life to enjoy eternity with you.
