Dear Cheryl and family,
I was saddened to hear of your father's passing. I understand he had been in bad health for awhile. Your father was an exceptional man who made an impact on my life. I was honored to know him. He was strong but gentle. A man of integrity. I remember when we first starting dating I was very nervous to be at your house but he would always make conversation to help me feel at home. My prayers and thoughts are with you. I will send a donation to the church in his memory as you requested.

Sunday school superintendent, teacher, encouraging, mentoring youth leader, husband to a lovely Proverbs 31 woman, father to beautiful, sweet daughters. I remember him as all of those things. Mostly I remember him as one whom I could only hope to emulate as a God-fearing, Godly man. I'll always cherish the influence that he had on my life as a young man. Thanks be to God for his example.
