To Arnie's family: My wife Eleonore and I extend our deep sympathy and share in your sadness. Arnie was a very close friend of mine dating back to Quebec City in 1979 and in Vancouver as well. We had the same circle of friends. I slowly lost track of Arnie in the mid-eighties and had no idea of how to contact him. I found this by chance today on the net. Arnie was not always the easiest person to be around and was troubled--and yet there was a spark there, and he was a searcher. I'll keep fond memories of him. I'd love to speak to one of his sisters, one of whom I've met one time. I'll try to get in touch somehow.
