I first knew you as one of the older, cool kids that lived upstairs. I then got to know you and love you and admire you as my cousin. I have so many memories from those days. You riding your bike and doing cool jumps. Participating with you and Crystal, making plays to act out for the family. The night we put a prism on a flashlight, shining rainbows into the dark room. Us watching the first airing of Thriller at a neighbor's house. Decorating Nana's Christmas tree. I can still see your young face in my mind, despite us all having aged. I didn't know what you believed as far as an afterlife but I can't and won't believe that you are just gone. I believe that your true adventure has just begun, however that might be. Your earthly voice may now be silent, your guitar with nobody to make it sing but I believe you are still out there watching over us and excited to some day show us all what you have just discovered. Son, brother, nephew, father, friend, and cousin...you will be missed for as long as we all still walk this earth. Watch over your mom and your sister...this is unbearable for them right now. I love you and I hope with all my heart that we'll meet again someday in the Great Beyond.

I met Aron when I was a teenager when he lived across the street from me. He saw me outside skateboarding in front of my house wearing a Minor Threat t-shirt. He walked up to me and said "So you like good music, huh?" Next thing you know, we were best buds, sharing our favorite music with each other and going to live shows every other week. We had a blast meeting bands and hanging out with them after their shows. He loved music so much that we worked on guitar techniques together. Just like every other hobby he loved, he picked up his new guitar skills very quickly and was belting out songs a few weeks later. He also studied various forms of horticulture and agriculture. Throughout the years, he constantly wanted to learn and I admired him for that. He even figured out juggling with fire torches!
My heart goes out to his family and friends that lost a great man way too early. He was a great father, a talented human being, and a very good friend to me. I will miss you my brother. The voice of oi is calling you!
