Dear Doris,
I remember Art and have always appreciated him as a friend, mentor and colleague. My first memory of him was when you, Doris, and he were in Danielson, and I was in Rumford, beginning my ministerial career while studying at ENC. Then, after I graduated from ENC and moved to Ogdensburg, he conducted a series of Revival Services. I was concerned about how my we could pay him, but he consoled me by saying, "Don't worry about it." I thank God for His faithfulness in ministry and to you.
In Christian Love,
Bart Wheeler

I knew Pastor Art when in Maine as a young teen. Always admired his big smile and warm personality. I lost track of him when I went to ENC, but as soon as I saw him at a NC pastor's retreat I recognized him and we renewed our friendship. He was a godly man, and my wife and I send our condolences to the family. We wish God's Peace and Presence for his wife, son and daughter as well as grands and great grands. By God's Grace and Mercy, we shall meet again! PTL!
