GREENSBORO — Arthur James Allen, Sr. departed Friday, August 2, 2013. (Arthur was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Allen). He is survived by his wife, Lottie Allen of the home; son, Arthur Allen, Jr (Pamela), Greensboro, NC; daughter Mary Alice Wheeler, Atlanta GA. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday at 12 p.m. at Bethel AME church, with visitation starting at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Carolina Biblical Gardens. Hargett Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be given to Disabled American Veterans, Guilford County Chapter #20, P.O. Box 4, Greensboro NC 27402.
