❤ Over seven months have passed .... so many memories ... it hurts ... but it also makes me feel so lucky to have had this crazy guy in my life.
He was honestly one of a kind.
Just one more day with him.... Life chats and ideas were left unfinished ... that hurts the most. All just gone, here one day and gone the next. In the blink of an eye. I will always wish I had been there that morning ....
He was so full of life !
He would have been a grandpa now. He joked and called me super grandma. He would have been a super grandpa. I so wish he was here for that role. He is missing out on so much.
I miss him immensely.
His laughter, his voice.
I miss telling him things and confiding in him. He was a good listener.
One of my favourite pictures of Art, with his grizzly beard and those loving eyes.
Forever in my thoughts ❤

Art was just that, a piece of art. He always made me and my partner, Drew Clark feel comfortable, making us laugh and reminding us to see the funny side of things. It always made me feel happy to see his face :)
A genuine, kind-hearted person who wanted others to feel good. Gone way too soon but I'm comforted knowing he is with his best pal, Babe. His love for dogs made me love him even more! My dog takes a little while to warm up to strangers but he worked on getting her to trust him right away. He would patiently sit and talk with her, giving her all the pets and saying her name with such affinity. I can still hear his voice and the words he would say to her "Oooh hello pal o'mine!" ... We will miss him so much. Still doesn't feel real. All we can do is be grateful for the time we had with Art, and the remaining time we have to together. Be good to your dog, make your best pancakes, take advantage of the grocery store flyer deals, laugh a lot, drink a damn good caesar (double or triple). It's what Art would want.

Art was one of those rare people you felt you'd known for years but was it was only 5 minutes. He enjoyed life and wanted everyone to feel the same way. Rest in Peace.

Friend, your passing has left a hole in my life. There were times when we drifted apart as life was taking us in different directions but we always came back together like no time had passed. Meeting in grade one and the fifty plus years that followed have left me with so many great memories. From sleep-overs as kids, working on tobacco as teens, weddings, having families, attending many parties (wild-life feasts was a favorite), riding motorcycles, Sunday morning breakfasts, Thursday night wings and always the possibility of your famous pancakes! Everything we did was fun and filled with so much laughter.
Art, even though our journey together has ended, my memories and the sound of your laughter will stay with me until my journey ends!

There are no words to express the tremendous loss felt with the sudden passing of Art . He was a tremendous friend and coworker . He always came to work with a smile to start the day and brightened the start of everyone’s work day with a laugh or two . And after hours set back and enjoy a beer the odd time and shoot the breeze . Art had a heart of gold and would help anyone if he could .There are so many things we all could say about Art that we could go on forever . He well be dearly missed and forever remembered by his friends and coworkers

Beautiful tribute to an amazing guy who I was fortunate to have as a friend and companion ❤ Joe and Jacob, you made him very proud.
Deepest condolences Joe, Jess, Jacob and to all your your family and long time friends, especially Tom and Steve. You had so many .... you had the ability to strike up a conversation with everyone you crossed paths with :)
I will always remember you Art, for your warm hugs, amazing laugh, and your ears :) not the size of them, but because they listened Intently to me, you always remembered everything we talked about. And would always joke and say “ you’re right Michelle”
You’ve left a large hole to fill. I’m so fortunate to have met you and will always remember our special times together and your companionship. RIP Arthur ❤ Love Michelle

I was very likely to have Art come into my life a couple of years ago. I had the pleasure of working with him after his injury. He made every session together memorable, from his wardrobe (crocs and his plaid coat), his contagious laugh and his humour. I am so thankful I got to get to know Art as he was one of a kind and I will forever remember him. His stories, and his look on life will always stay with me. He was so proud of his boys and talked about them all the time. From Joseph and Jess buying a house and Jacob visiting from out west and he couldn’t wait to show him the renovations he did. My condolences go out to the entire Bendall family. Rest In Peace Art.

I remember Art from public and highschool. Such a nice person. I was lucky enough to run into him at a grocery store in Peterborough a few years ago. He remembered me right away and had one of his signature stories to tell along with his laugh. He spoke to me of his sons and you could see how proud he was of them. The world is missing a very special person. Rest in peace my friend.
