Jerry and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you in this overwhelming loss of both parents. You were the shining star of their world and they were so proud of you.
Though deeply saddened, I am thankful for the many memories of travels and happy occasions that Paul and I were blessed to share with our dear friends Irene and Arthur J.
God Bless you and your family.

Jerry, I was mesmerized while reading the bios of your Dad and Mom. Truly inspiring lives and testimonies to American decency and dedication. Sometimes our chronological snobbery keeps us from seeing just how much we owe our predecessors. God bless you at this tough time; it must be reassuring to rest secure in their faith and memories of their steadfastness.

Jerry and Family:
I am so happy that I had the opportunity to visit with Dr. and Mrs. Benson last August at the Athens-Concord Town Social. It was a special time to share the many memories we had living in Athens, attending church together as well as our days at Concord. They shared many fond times with my grandparents and is was wonderful to reminisce about their visits to the farm. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.

Dear family of Dr. Benson,
I had the pleasure of being in the Teacher Education Program at Concord College during the spring of 1966 and I had a class from Dr. Benson in the "Block". Dr. Benson was a fine teacher and to me that's high praise as I found several professors at Concord but only a few outstanding "teachers". His humor, kind word of encouragement, and caring was appreciated by me and the other students in his class.
My prayers go out to the family over the loss of both parents in such a short time.
