Arthur Cardenas Obituary
Arthur was the pride and joy of his family. He will be remembered for his beautiful eyes and beautiful smile which was a sign of his love for life. He enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, playing golf with his friends and spending time with his family. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Texas Longhorn football team and the San Antonio Spurs.
Arthur graduated with honors from Pflugerville High School in 2003. He earned a bachelor's degree in Communications from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2008. He was a successful website developer and videographer and was also employed at Trace Restaurant in downtown Austin.
He is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Arthur G. Cardenas, brothers Joshua and Paul, maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ventura Briceno, paternal grandfather Mr. Arthur U. Cardenas, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Mrs. Eva Cardenas.
Special gratitude is extended to the medical staff of St. David's Hospital for their compassionate care of Arthur during his illness. Very special gratitude is extended to his caregiver Ms. Diana Pisana for her continuous demonstration of love for Arthur during his illness.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, on Friday, October 18, 2013 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. The memorial service will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 19 in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Austin Golden Gloves P.O.Box 150665 Austin, Texas 78715.

I heard a preacher say that we say that as humans, we have these "why's" in our heart that we plan to ask Father when we are with him. But that once we are with Father, these "why's" will melt from our heart, that our joy will be so great in His presence, that they will just melt. I pray so.
