With extreme sadness, I offer my condolences. Arthur D was much more than a friend and colleague. He was a mentor, a leader, an inspiration in every facet of business, education and life. Larger than life, his legacy will always be a part of the Cosmetology industry. RIP, Arthur.

I loved Mr. D. He's all I heard about from my grandfather, C.B, when I first got into the business and I'll never forget how welcoming he was to me and how willing he was to share ideas. I'll always cherish the time I spent at PBA with Mr. D and with Art Jr. My condolences to the entire family.

My heart felt condolences go out to "Mr D's" family and his extended cosmetology family. He has touched and inspired so many.It was a great honor and joy to be a student, teacher, PR representative, and President of the Alumni Association. I can never thank him enough for my Teacher's Scholarship, it was the bridge to my wonderful teaching career. I know of so many stories like mine, stories of a man who could see the bigger picture and in turn give them the opportunity to blossom. He was such a wonderful man, whom I thought of as a grandfather, as I am sure did many others. His legacy will go on in the hearts of all whom he has touched .My deepest sympathies Katherine DelGrande

I remember Art as a gentleman who gave of himself to many causes. His dedication to St. Pius was second to none. He worked tirelessly organizing and volunteering so much of his busy time to all fund raising events for the good of St. Pius X Church and School for so many years.

Art was the pure definition of Class and Dignity. He will be remembered fondly by all whose lives he touched. My sincere condolences to Art Jr., Candy and Cindy.

May his soul rest in peace,

Marcia Riley Smith

There would not be enough space to write the wonderful memories I have of this great man! Needless to say, my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences go out to Art, Jr., Cindy, and Candy. How he loved his family!

I can't help but think that Mr. "D" has been reunited with his beautiful June once again and that they, along with Cherrie now can watch over their children with even more love and care. What a joyous heavenly reunion! Who knows? Even Marty, the dog might be there...

Through PBA, he provided a springboard for so many successful careers, as well as the foundation of countless and lasting friendships. He was an example of one man making such an immense difference in people's lives. I and others will always be grateful for this and for so much more.

Yes, there are so many stories, too numerous to recount and some which could only be told "in person," and not in the printed word. Yet, all of those and more can find their origin in this one, very classy man.

Thank you so much and may the Angels lead you into Paradise, Mr. "D" and remember those of us left "seated at the bench outside of your office," waiting to see you once again.

With Fondest Remembrance,
Brother V. Kenneth Curley, F.S.C.
