Arthur T. Foss Sr

My dear Friend, it's been a while since you passed and I still miss you so much. I was so very blessed to have you in my life. I miss the phone calls, miss the bond that we had. I knew if I ever needed a friend, you were a phone call away. You did so much for everyone. I enjoyed helping out in Washington D.C......I'll never forget the time you were invited to meet the President of the United States and growled about not wanting to. I talked to you for a while to get you to go. Afterwards, you said you were glad you went. Kevin and I both loved you dearly as a precious friend. Miss you.....

His picture resides behind my bat where it is dedicated to all those who have fallen and to those who have served . Art, we were like brothers . I never served but you always treated me as I did. Never Forgotten!

You will never be forgotten! One of the finest men I ever met and had the privilege to work with and beside . To his family I say We will never forget the man of so many strengths. Rip brother. Until we meet again.

Always in our heart. Never forgotten. One of the greatest guys I knew. We became as close as brothers. We shared a lot together and were very close. I have never forgotten our times together in Rolling Thunder and his great wisdoms. Rest in Peace Brother. TOM

Art was my President of VA3 and by learning from Art and the members of VA3 of what what Rolling Thunder® was all about, he enabled me to start a chapter after I moved. For those who knew Art knew that his efforts toward our mission for the POW/MIA's and Veterans was tireless. He was an advocate until the very end and his influence in our organization will live on. We lost an advocate for our mission, a Warrior and a Soldier. To Molly and the rest of the Foss family, you all are in our hearts and minds. Rest in peace, Art. We will ride together again someday....

Some of my fondness memories of Art were seeing how he interacted with his granddaughter Autumn. He handled her with such patience and you could see the twinkle in his eye when doing so. It really goes to show that you can't judge a book by it's cover it's what's on the inside that counts. And Art had a good heart and our Lord has welcomed him into heaven for it. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 God Bless the Foss Family

Art, One of the most passionate men in the world. I will rememeber him for is witty humor and the love he showed not only to his wife molly and granddaughter Autum but everyone he came in contact with. You will be highly missed. We will always love and keep up in our heart.

Art I have never met a man as passionate and dedicated to fighting a cause as you were. For those that cannot speak for themselves and all of those you worked with to bring awareness to their cause I know all your efforts and you will never be forgotten. We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

I will always remember Art for his compassion to the young Marines as he provided food baskets to them during the holiday seasons and his passionate work with the Rolling Thunder to address POW/MIA awareness. May the good Lord bless Art and his family and may he rest in eternal peace.
