Arthur J. MEHARG

Joe's dad was named Arthur also. And was a well known Insurance man in our community. Therefore This Arthur was known as "Joe" until he Graduated from Eastern Michigan University's ROTC Program and entered the Army where he said he had to use his first name. My family moved to the Lincoln Consolidated School area in 1947. The first day of school our 4th grade teacher seated the class alphabetically so she could learn our names and faces and Joe and I have been friends ever since.

Art enjoyed life,family and friends.enjoyed taking trips and learning the history of places he visited.He loved music and the arts.attended many concerts.Many thanks to Pastor Dan Fiorini and West Enon Church of God congregation and The Springfield Masonic Community for their dedicated services to Art.
