We have known Bud for at least forty years. He was the most compassionate and wise person we have ever known. We are enriched for having known him.
He lives on in our hearts.

I came to know Bud through our work with Michael's Place and knew a very good, bright, educated and fine man. His human insights, his educated view of human nature and his gentle contact with everyone will always be remembered.
He will be very missed by me and everyone involved with Michael's Place.

I met Artie when I was a freshman at Scranton Prep. He was Jesuit scholastic and my home room teacher. He was one of the most influential people in my early life. He gave me the confidence to compete at a very difficult school. Had he not encouraged me I probably would have left after freshman year and my life would have been significantly different. I am a better person because of him. God Bless and keep him.

Because of Nancy, Katie, then later, Nolan & Kenz, I felt like I knew "Bud", although I didn't really. From their stories throughout the years, however, I sensed he was a wonderful husband, father, PopPop, neighbor, brother, and generally a kind man. I know he'll be missed. So sorry for you loss of such a dear man. Know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bud served the men and staff at Michael's Place as a volunteer psychologist, counselor, advocate, and FRIEND for over 13 years. His gift of time, professionalism, and compassion literally saved dozens of lives and gave countless men the support and foundation they needed to recover their families, their dignity, and their self-esteem. Most recently, Bud served on the Michael's Place SVdP Board Committee, helping to shape policy and ensure the long term viability of this important program. Bud will be sorely missed but his legacy at SVdP and Michael's Place will be timeless. Please be assured of our prayers during this time.
