Arthur Anthony Ordaz

Elko - Arthur Anthony Ordaz, age 48, was born in Montebello, California, where his story began and where he learned the values that would shape the man he became. Anthony proudly served his country in the U.S. Army's 593rd Medium Transportation Company (Operation Enduring Freedom 2012-2013) and National Guard for 16 years and spent 16 years working underground in Elko's nearby gold mines-both paths reflecting his strength, dedication, and tireless work ethic.

Anthony loved going to the gym, traveling, and embracing life's adventures, but nothing compared to the love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed by his ex-wife and best friend, Tammy, and by his four children-Hope, Addison, Braelynn, and Anthony "Sonny" Ordaz. His love, guidance, and spirit will live on through them always.

Anthony had a way of leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. With his infectious smile, kind heart, and unmistakable presence, he made friends wherever he went. Those who knew him will forever remember his laughter, his warmth, and even his unforgettable and lasting cologne scent that brought comfort and familiarity to those he loved.

A beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend, Anthony passed away on January 11, 2026. He is survived by his mother, Suzanne Ramos; his father, Mike Ramos; his ex-wife Tammy; his children Hope, Addison, Braelynn, and Sonny; his brother and sister-in-law Jonathan and Amber Ramos; his niece Isabelle and Joshua, his nephew, and many cherished uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory forward.
