REPPAS
Arthur (Athanasios):
Saki, We first met in Greek school in the 1970's and like all children of the migrant experience we rebelled, we were tough and yet we knew how to laugh deeply in all situations. As we grew older we went out and conquered our domain in the same high spirits with style and class and above all with a lot of fun. We could have written a book on our adventures. Then 20 years parted us on opposite sides of the country and as our lives matured we bumped into each other again recently. Nothing had changed and yet so much had changed us as we now had families, our hair had become grey, we had responsibilities we never dreamed of and maybe we picked up a bit of maturity along the way too. To say it was a shock that one minute we reunited and now fate stole you away old friend so fast. What crazy irony life can be. To me I feel broken that we never had the opportunity to pick up where we left off with the same level of fun. One bit of wisdom I will share for those that maybe will take the time to read this is that there is a time line in life that God has for all of us. Sometimes it is from a sickness, or pain or some challenge and we recover yet sometimes it means it is just our time to meet our maker. Inevitably at some point the time line always does a full circle and we all have to stand before the Lord and give an account of our life. No one ever knows what happens in those last few moments but between the individual and God. Tomorrow I will try to face your funeral like you would have wanted us to from the way we learned in our youth filarako. Love and kind thoughts to all your family, especially your gentle mama Chrisoula, your loving wife Sunnie and your son Georgaki from John, Les and all the Vogiatzakis family.

Sunnie and Georgie,
The entire Winterfold community have you in their hearts as you both navigate through this tragic time. Your role as our wonderful P&C President has touched and influenced so many in our community. Through your generosity of spirit we have learnt that it does takes a village to raise a child. Georgie and Sunnie; we are your village, we are your community and we are proud to call you one of our own. In your time of grief we the Winterfold staff, parents and students offer our heartfelt love and condolences.
