Arturo BIAGI Obituary
Peacefully, passed away on September 30, 2021. Arturo, former teacher at Holyrood High for 38 years, President at Priestfield Tennis Club, Former SVA Coach and a lifelong Ayr United Fan. Beloved husband to Malcolm, son of Paul and Rosie, Brother to Anna, Much loved uncle to Gillian, Ashley, Catriona, Michael, Cara, Cammy and Lorenzo. Funeral service will take place on Monday, October 18, at Mortonhall Crematorium, Main Chapel, at 12 noon, to which all are welcome. If comfortable, please wear bright colours. Family flowers only, please. If desired, donations can be made to Marie Curie Frogston Road in loving memory of Arturo.

Was so sad to hear the news. Mr Biagi was my year head at school and he was always so lovely.

What a wonderful man. He was my maths teacher from 1981-1985 and an outstanding teacher. He inspired me to go on and study maths at university and become a maths teacher myself. He truly shaped my life. Rest in peace Mr Biagi.

Very sad to hear of Boog's passing. I knew him at two different stages of life and then mainly following each other on social media, where a difference in politics was always done with good humour. He was a kind and unique person who I know will be greatly missed by all who loved him. May he Rest in Peace.
