ARVEL AD ALLMAN Arvel "AD" Allman, 70, of Lee's Summit, MO passed away on December 28, 2017. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 3, at Langsford Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, at St. Robert Bellarmine, Blue Springs, MO. Interment will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Blythedale, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army. Mr. Allman was born March 7, 1947 in Kansas City, MO. He was a Master Union Carpenter and Construction Superintendent for 32 years, working for many companies across the metro. He was proud of his trade and often pointed out the buildings he helped construct or supervised the construction of. His children, step-children, and grandchildren have been the recipients of AD's many special projects. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hattie and Kenneth Allman; brothers, William and Marvin; and sister, Louella. Survivors include his wife, Carol; children, Angela (Bob) Edwards, Andrea (Mark) Downs, and AJ (Emma) Allman; his wife's children, Rebecca (Jay) Montellano, and Sara and Amy Durham; grandchildren, Ian Weigel, Bob (Danae), Rachel, Samantha, Benjamin, Isaiah, and Elizabeth Edwards, Tessa, Patrick, and DJ Allman, Nicholas, Gabriella, and Alexander Montellano; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Madison Allman; sister, Linda (Dave) McFarland; nieces and nephews Dana Altiera, Roy McFarland, Tammy McNeal, and Tommy Cantwell and their families.
