I briefly knew Asa in Salisbury when we worked together (guessing about 1987) he made a good enough impression upon me that i looked him up all thes 35 years - I hope he is resting in peace.

A fine musician and an even finer person. Kind, thoughtful and soft-spoken, he'll be missed.

Asa touched many people in the community but probably no one more than the musicians he jammed with and collaborated with. His "harp" skills were appreciated by all. Although I didn't see him often he always had a smile and made me feel like his friend. I know he had many difficult challenges but I never heard him complain. May God bless him with sweet music in Heaven for eternity.

Faye, Dale, Lee and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers! Garnett was a unique individual who followed the beat of his own drummer. He was a person who was always had a smile and time to spend with you talking and listening. I looked to him as an older brother as I grew up! He was a sincere and honest person who will be missed by all who knew him!

Asa was a free spirit. Everyone loved listening to his stories. Katie....he was so proud of you....his greatest accomplishment. I know he died at peace having you by his side. He was a writer, an artist and loved playing harmonica. On Friday his life will be celebrated.
Hugs,
Aunt Kim
