Ashley Brooke Johnson

Ashley Brooke Age 18, of Taft Rd., Painted Post, NY, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2004. Ashley was born November 7, 1985 in Dover, DE, daughter of Michael and Wendy Laughlin Johnson. She was a graduate of Corning West High School, Class of 2003, and had attended BOCES in the CNA program. She especially enjoyed working in the school office at Corning West. Her love for people and the healthcare profession was shown by her kindness while working at Elcor and Three Rivers. Ashley at present time, was a student at Corning Community College in the Nursing Program. Her smile and warmth were freely given to everyone, and were a source of joy and strength to her family. Surviving Ashley are her parents, Michael Johnson of Caton, and Wendy Reynolds of Painted Post, NY; a brother, Cory Johnson; a sister, Kayla; grandparents, Judy Carpenter of Painted Post, Clifford and Virginia Johnson of Corning; aunts and uncles, Brenda (Bub) Pratt of Addison, Kelly and Lori Johnson of Corning, Patrick and Kris Johnson of Lawrenceville, PA, Darien and Theresa Johnson of Coopers Plains; and several cousins. Friends are invited to call at Carpenter's Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 27, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be at the conclusion of the visitation, 8 p.m. The interment will be in Coopers Cemetery, Coopers Plains, NY.
