McCAFFERY Violet Georgina (Willar) Died December 7, 2007 in her 90th year. Predeceased by husband Bill Willar, sister Pearl and brother-in-law John Curle, brother Lloyd Ewen, sister-in-law Margaret Ewen. Survived by brothers Alex Ewen, Norman Ewen and sister-in-law Tori, sister-in-law Eleanor Ewen, many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Long time Burnaby resident, Vi was born in Oxbow, Sask., trained as a psychiatric nurse and retired from Valleyview Hospital. The family says good-bye, for now, to a wonderful lady. Fondly known as ÃŽAuntie ViÃŽ, her fierce independence and wisdom will never be forgotten. Thank-you to 2A Burnaby Hospital, long-time physician Dr. M. Goldberger, and friends Gladys Busby and Gary Holme. Graveside service 12:00 p.m., January 5, Forest Lawn Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Westminster Club, 713 Columbia St., New Westminster. Aunti Vi, You were always there for all of us- helping,caring &sharing. Your love for us and strong personality will always be a guiding light for us to follow. We will miss you but know that you have joined our other loved ones.

"Auntie Vi" was a very SPECIAL person in our lives. We have a wealth of precious memories for which we are so very grateful. She loved us all so very much and we in turn loved her in the same way. We will miss her immensely and in particular at Christmas time.
