Skip was a long time friend from Cleveland HS and after. I visited him in SF after his horrendous surgery in 1952(?).He took sister Peggy to the HS prom. He was generous and friendly. I loved dancing to the Kings of Swing.

Skip was a good soul and he is missed! I will forever remember him as I have his mother! They both were very kind and giving of themselves!

We would call him Uncle Skip, even though he was technically a cousin. He was a true academic, an outstanding Engineer, and a very caring family member. His memory will live on in the lives of all he touched and helped. God's speed Uncle Skip, we will try to live up to your example.

From the Seattle Times, 1945. Fred, Tom, Skip, and Burr

Skip was one of my oldest friends, going back to Cleveland High School in Seattle. Along with a dozen other friends we started a dance band in 1944, the Kings of Swing. Skip was the drummer. The photo is from a Seattle Times newspaper article about our band from Ca. 1945. My condolences to all who loved Skip. We wish him "bon voyage" on his present journey.
