Audie was born on January 15, 1929 and passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016. Audie was a resident of Kinston, North Carolina at the time of her passing. She was married to John. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday April 28 2016 at Garner Funeral Home with Captain Curtis Kratz Major Milton Wood and Lt. Bruce Rabon officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:50 a.m. prior to the service and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army of Kinston 2110 North Queen Street Kinston NC 28501.

If there was one word to describe Aunt Audie, it was be FAITHFUL. She was totally sold out to God. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Mrs. Audie was a very special lady who taught me in Sunday school and my fondest memorie of her was leading us in song on Sunday morning!! I had the privilege to work with her at LMH and she was a kind and loving soul to so many people whose lives she touched!! My Prayers are with all of you. She will be greatly missed.
