Audrey Anderson

Our beautiful, loving, kind, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother Ms. Audrey Elizabeth Anderson entered eternity on January 18, 2015. Audrey Elizabeth Larson was born to Christian and Elizabeth Larson in Audubon, Minnesota on September 8, 1923. She was the fourth child born to a family of 10 children. Audrey married James Howard Potter Jr. in Santa Monica, California on May 15, 1943. Audrey and Howard resided in Santa Monica, California, and Sioux City, Iowa while Howard served in the Air Force during WWII. After serving in WWII Howard and Audrey made their home in West Fargo, North Dakota. This union was blessed with five beautiful children, Cassandra, James, Jack, Paul, and Mark. Among many special memories are the times the family spent together enjoying the outdoors at the lake with Grandpa and Grandma Potter, other family members and special friends. Howard and Audrey raised their five children together until Howard's unexpected death in his sleep on January 7, 1962. On August 19, 1966 Audrey E Potter married Al Anderson. Audrey will be remembered and cherished for her warm, kind and loving, welcoming spirit. She will be greatly missed. Audrey leaves four children, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; two brothers, two sisters, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Audrey was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard, her second husband Al, her son Paul, her parents, and five siblings. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in honor of Audrey to rafikifoundation.org, amazima.org, asourown.org, the voice of the martyrs, the God's child project or a charity of your choice. Funeral: Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, West Fargo followed by burial at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
