As a member of BOC outdoor club, I met with Audrey on several hiking trips. I feel sad to know that she has left us unexpectedly. I still remember her passion to Dr.Seuss's book and movie, her kind offering for carpooling and her home-made salad that was shared on last years mountain baker trip.

She is a good role model to me for how life should and could be lived. And such inspiration will never die away.

It is with much sadness that I learned today of Audrey's passing. Audrey was one of my classmates at VGH School of Nursing (Class of '77-'80). What a wonderful gal she was - always smiling and laughing; finding humor and joy in life. I extend my deepest sympathies to her children Travis and Erin, her father and her many friends she left behind. God bless you Audrey, you will be missed and loved.

I went throuh nursing school with Audrey, then lived with her for several years after graduation. Lots of fun, laughter and good times. When I think of her it is always with a smile on her face. Through the years we exchanged Christmas cards updating each other on career, kids and travel. To Travis and Erin you were her pride and joy. I am so sorry for your loss.

Audrey, Travis & Erin;
I am so sad to hear of the loss of your mom and my friend. We also met at VGH Nursing School (77-80); Class of Feb 80! She had a zest for life, an infectious laugh, she was a dedicated mom and nurse! We lived together with Calli for a year, were at each others weddings and more.....she is already dearly missed...R.I.P. Audrey!

Audrey - words fail to express how sad I am. I met you in 2006 and you and the rest of the BC skating gang adopted me as your competition mascot. Together we created amazing memories which I will cherish - Tallinn, Villard, Oberstdorf, skating fun, beer, tequila jello-shots and lots and lots of laughter. You were such a caring and good friend. I will miss you. Till we meet again xxx

Audrey - we will all miss you. Your smilling face on the ice at Coquitlam Skating Club was an inspiration to all - young and old. Typical of a nurse, you were always there to volunteer and to help make an ongoing difference. You gave so ...much, and asked for little. Your children are your legacy, and they will continue to make you proud ... continue to guide them and to stay close to all of us. Sending my love to such a young and vibrant spirit - you define what we know as an Angel!

I was fortunate to meet Audrey in nursing school. She always had that smile that we have come to know, no matter what kind of a day she had. Her laughter was contagious and if there was any party, she was in for the adventure. In speaking with Twyla, who lived next door to Audrey in nursing school, she recollected her talent and creativity. Audrey sewed together small pieces of different colored carpet squares to get a rug for her floor in residence making her stipend go further. Like Joseph and his coat of many colors, Audrey was rich with love, both in what she gave and what she received. I will miss her terribly. She was a glass half full kinda gal! To Travis, Erin, her family and friends I share your grief. She was a classy lady. Love Kim
