Mother's Day Run & Walk
Todd Birss
April 13, 2011
Dearest Forzani Family,
I have had the opportunity to get to know Mama Forzani over the past 11 years as she has been a huge part of The Forzani Group Foundation. Her smile, laugh, concern and interest in others made her a very special person. I know that speaking on behalf of my wife, kids & Mother's Day Run & Walk Committee...she will be truly missed but never forgotten! A well deserved tribute at the Mother's Day Run & Walk is the least we can do for our Honorary Mom!

To the Forzani Family
As My sister Maria Cicirelli remarked, we spent some wonderful dinners together at my parents place (Flaviano's) and she always had a great story to share! My girls really loved her and were sad to hear of her passing. We visited a few times at her house and she always gave them a chocolate or a treat and always had a funny story to tell them!
We will miss you! God Bless!

Dear John, Joe, Tom and families:
I was so sad to hear about the passing of Grandma Forzani. I have spent the weekend thinking of you and the wonderful years I spent with the Forzani Group. Your mom exemplified the things I loved most about working with all of you - doing what you love, bringing passion to each day, the art of a great relationship and of course treating others like family.
She has truly been an inspiration. Her pride for her boys was absolutely palpable. I feel blessed to have known her and am grateful that so many of her wonderful qualities will continue to be shared by all of you.
My thoughts are with you all. I will run a 10km on Mother's Day this year in honour of a great lady and a great family.
Miss you all,
Grant Gallelli

Forzani Familia,
We are sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mother, nonna, and aunty, Audrey. My mother and Audrey grew up in Bridgeland together and sang in the choir together at OLPH church, the Litany of the Saints, all in Latin of course. They would share afternoon coffee and Italian recipes. I remember my mother telling me of the fun times she had spent with Audrey, especially grocery shopping and buying bunches of rock hard green bananas for her boys to eat when they were training for football. What beautiful memories you must have of such wonderful times you shared with such a dear Lady.
God Bless You All,

My mom and I have a fond memory of Audrey Forzani. At one of the Mothers Day races in the early 1990's I was sitting in the stands at McMahon with my kids and my mother after we'd completed the 5K. We didn't know it, but Audrey was sitting in front of us. Immediately after Mrs Forzani was presented with a large bouquet of roses, she plucked a few from the bouquet and gave them to my mom.
So sorry for your loss.

To the Forzani family,
I first met Audrey over ten years ago when I worked at Crowfoot Co-Op. She was so friendly and kind. It didn't take long before we were very good friends. We could insult each other and have a great laugh over it. We ate many meals at Swiss Chalet and washed down several A&W burgers with a glass of quality red wine at her home. Audrey met several of my friends and I couldn't go out for lunch with them unless I brought Audrey along. She charmed us with her wonderful stories and made us laugh so hard we cried.

I have wonderful memories of your Mom and Julietta talking and laughing, walking arm and arm past our house. My parents Eva and Jack Rebaudengo(2nd Ave. N.E.) were involved in the small community and Mom with fhe CWL. Your mom was a beautiful person, and always stopped to visit with me when I was younger. Her smile and kindness will be remembered by me.
