Dear, dear Audrey! So sweet and kind and tender. She was my dear friend even when, over 40 years ago, I moved far away. We stayed in touch and continued to love each other in a very special way. Thank you, Susan, for (the past 12 years) keeping me updated with news from Texas. Audrey and Wally both deeply touched my heart and life in a wonderfully positive way! My sincere condolences to Susan, Darryll, Esther and extended families.

I met Audrey at Kendall House in Boerne. She and my parents were in the same facility. I met Susan, her daughter, as she tended to her Mother's needs. Susan was very kind to her Mom, Audrey. I am blessed to have met Audrey and Susan. Both Audrey and Susan are wonderful examples of how to live through difficult circumstances. Audrey was dignified during her illness and Susan was a wondrous caregiver. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Sincerely, Karen Fagala Gibson

Audrey and I shared a love of her son (my brother-in-law) and chocolate. She was a lovely, kind woman. I am grateful to have known her. Much love to her family and friends from Michel, Fuller and me.

I hit the jackpot in a mother-in-law. Audrey was sweet, kind and non-judgmental. She was an oasis of light and joy in a sometimes harsh world. I never tired of being around her. Even in her last years through the fog of a terrible brain disease, she always smiled, cracked jokes and laughed. What a delight. She will be sorely missed and always deeply loved.

I remember her as soft spoken and very polite. I enjoyed dancing with her at Autumn Winds. I have 2 left feet, but she always told me I danced well. I hope she rode out on her white horse to meet her family. Aloha Audrey!

The sweetest, most gentle and loving chocoholic I have ever known and was proud to call my Auntie! I always felt I had a kindred spirit as she loved monkeys maybe even more than I did!
