You probably don't know us, but we are members of St. James who lost our baby Elijah last April, also at Children's Hospital from a heart defect. We spent six months there, and are fully aware of all that you have gone through. Eli's surgeon was Dr. Moga, too. Please know that our hearts go out to you and if you ever feel that you want to talk about your experience with someone who has been there, please feel free to contact us.

My sympathies in the loss of your little Audrey. My little grandson was born at Abbott on June 8 and was transferred to Children's immediately for heart surgery, so they must have been there at the same time and we probably saw each other there. Our heart goes out to you at this time. Little Kaleb is scheduled for another open heart surgery at the end of September so we know what you've been through.

Working with Granpa Ken and being granparents ourselves we understand the joy such a beautful little blessing to a family can bring, even for such a short period of time. So many times the Lord calls our loved ones to be with him earlier then we would want, but we have to let our hearts know that our loved ones are blessed to be with him. How very sorry I was to hear of your loss. I work with Grampa Kenny and he kept our office up to date. For every rainbow that fills our sky, I will think of this special little angel.
