Dear Kari. I´m so sorry to learn about the passing of Audrey I will always remember her as an enthusiastic vibrant woman who had a big heart and amazing strength She will leave a big vacuum in your life. It was very special for her that you were able to have her living with you and having all your love and support in her last days .

When Audrey suddenly became a widow and her three step girls became adult orphans, she never hesitated to maintain her position as a role model, teacher and spiritual guide for us.
She embraced her new extended family and offered continuous guidance, encouragement and support for the rest of her very busy life.
She proved to be a wonderful role model for myself, my children and grandchildren, always making an effort to keep in touch throughout the years.
I am eternally grateful for all the many many things she taught me ( like how to make shepherd´s pie- a family favourite!) and about living life to our best abilities.
This is a woman whose spirit lives on in many wonderous ways.
She will be missed, but never forgotten.

Sparkle is how I would describe this vibrant lady. I still loved visiting with her on the phone each year. There was never any dead air. We would chat like no time had passed. Audrey embraced life and aging as an adventure. I will definitely take note as a lesson to learn in my life. Big hugs Kari, Paul and family. Love Pete and Sharon Chouinard.

My mum ( Mary Lewis ) and Audrey were the best of friends. They spent many hours in various coffee shops and restaurants in Vancouver having lunch or early dinner , rain or shine. They loved going to the movies and whiling away an afternoon together.Audrey and my mum were in the Christ Church book club. The group spent many Sunday afternoons having a pot luck lunch with wine . It was a veritable feast. Not a lot of discussion about the book but a lot of laughter and good times . One year they went to the PNE and got themselves on Global TV.
They are reunited now in heaven and I know they will be enjoying each other´s company and laughing a lot.
Love to them both
Jane (Mary´s daughter)

My deepest sympathies to Kari, Paul, and family. Audrey was a bright light and one of the happiest person I knew growing up. Many great summer memories on the farm with our families . Rest in peace
