Marlene & Greg,
I hardly read a newspaper these days and happened to see the Winter 2007 Hilltop Heartbeat and was shocked to see a memorial for Ruby. In working with you, Marlene, for almost 20 years, I know how much you loved your Mom. Ruby was such a sweetie; I remember seeing you and Ruby together and thinking you were two peas in a pod. I can't imagine how hard this was for you. Know that Jan and my prayers are with you always. And be thankful for the limitless wonderful memories you have of Ruby. Love, Peg & Jan Wren

Marlene & Jerri,
I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother. She was a terrific lady. I know that when I came home to visit Dad during his last years, we normally took a trip down to visit with her and I enjoyed talking with her. She and Dad shared a lot of good times and helped each other over some tough ones. Ruby will be deeply missed by all her family. --one of her nieces.

Darling Marlene,
How very fortunate you are to have had such a long and fulfilling relationship with your beautiful mother. The loving care which passed back and forth between the two of you was a joy to behold. No one could have had a better daughter. And, of course, that is because you learned your profoundly loving ways from her great heart. Surely you'll miss her, but she is with you always in every kind and caring act you perform.Such a life to celebrate!
Thinking of you and Greg,

Dear Greg and Marlene,
I was so glad to have been working at SMDC when you were there to visit with Ruby.
I also feel very lucky to have known Ruby and to know how devoted the two of you were, always, to her.
I will miss her when we gather at Sue's for the 4th of July.
I love you.

To my grandmother: I remember soft and gentle hands reasching out to dry my tears; I remember warm and loving arms that chased away my fears. Someone that I could run to, who always made sure she was there; an ear that would patiently listen, someone who always cared. There's something rare and wonderful, god placed in my grandmother's heart; somethng he knew a child would need, right from the very start heaven has a place reserved, for grandmother's sweet and kind; but I had a little heaven on earth, in the grandmother I called mine. Rest in peace my sweet grandmother. I love you. I was touched by your love, your heart print will always linger in my heart and soul.

Aunt Ruby was a very special lady.
She was always very kind and always
spoke gently to everyone. I remember as a little girl "going down the hill" to their house and playing. I will remember her always in my heart. I believe she is now with my parents (Fred & Mary Sundin) her brother whom we lost just last year. God Bless you
Aunt Ruby and your family. Love you all.

Aunt Ruby was a very special person and was loved by everyone she touched. She is now in a better place joining my dad and mom (Slim and Mary Sundin). I will always remember coming home on vacation and dad would say "let's go for a ride down the hill and visit with Ruby". And about the time Aunt Ruby and Marlene came out to Las Vegas and visited with me and Lee. Always good times!! I loved her dearly and will miss her.

I would like to express my condolences to the family and friends of Ruby Linskie. These can be difficult times, however, much comfort can be found in God's Word the Bible with such scriptures as Isa.25:8, and Ps.37:11,29.

My deepest heartfelt sympathy to Rubys family. Heaven will be an even better place because she's in it. I will miss and love her always. She was my "other mama".

Marlene,

So sorry to hear about "Ruby." She was such a wonderful person and always so kind to everyone, even the 'brats' in the neighborhood. I have many fond memories of both her and your father (I still remember some of his 'ditties' that he used to recite to us.

Take care, my thoughts and sympathies are with you - Mary Jane
