AUDREY ROOT Obituary
73, of Vowinckel, died suddenly late Wednesday evening, January 26, 2011 at Clarion Hospital. Born August 31, 1937 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Hilary and Gertrude Lauderbach Leister. She was united in marriage to Ruel Root on October 6, 1956 at St. Joseph Church in Mt. Oliver, Pittsburgh and he survives. Friends and family may call on Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 at the BORLAND FUNERAL HOME, INC. in Leeper. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2011 at St. Mary Church in Crown with Rev. Gregory Passauer, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Mary Church in Crown. Online condolences may be sent to the family at:

To my sweet Aunt you will be missed & remain in my Heart forever. I loved you dearly. My sympathy is with my Uncle Sonny & with the rest of the family. All of you are in also in my Heart & Prayers. She will never be forgotten. Love Always Elaine
