I had the pleasure of working with Gus at Bicron in Newbury from 1987 to 1992 before I joined law enforcement. Gus was my closest friend there and he had a heart of gold. Good memories brought thoughts back so I had to see if Gus was still here...God bless you August and your family so I will "See You Later"
Respectfully,

I served with August at Fort Knox Kentucky in the summer of 1967. I was his squad leader in the 4 th platoon. I remember him as a friend from a long time ago. I'm a former Ashtabula son.I saw him once after that in Rock Creek when once again we crossed paths. We were close in Basic. Sorry for the loss.

Your sorrow is shared by many. Remember all the good times you had together, it will help ease your sorrow.
I have fond memories of him that make me laugh and they never fail to lift my mood.
With love, Sandra
